Win the case starts, not just the enquiries.
Teen and adult orthodontic patients arrive by completely different routes. We build the referral assets, the local presence and the aligner campaigns that turn both into booked consultations.
In short
- Quoted after a free audit. A single practice and a multi-site group need different work. Case values are high enough that we scope against your consultation and case start targets rather than selling a package.
- Delivered from our Richmond Hill office for businesses across Toronto and the GTA.
- Month to month. No minimum term and no lock-in.
- Ad accounts, pixels and analytics are created in your name, so the data stays yours.
- Common questions are answered at the foot of this page.
What you get
- Separate campaigns for teen and family cases and for adult clear aligners
- Referral assets your referring dentists will actually use
- Google Ads for clear aligner and braces searches, by postal code
- A site that answers cost and treatment length before the first call
- Meta Ads built to clear the rules on before and after imagery
- Tracking that counts booked consultations, not form fills
What orthodontics does not share with general dentistry
Two different patients, two different journeys, and a referral channel most marketing ignores entirely.
Two funnels, not one
Adolescent cases arrive largely through referring dentists and local search. Adult aligner patients self-refer after months of quiet comparison. Run both in one campaign and the cheaper clicks spend the budget before the high-value ones are reached.
Your referrers are an audience
Most practices treat the relationship with general dentists as relationship work rather than marketing. A clear referral path, case updates and something a front desk can actually hand a patient are marketing assets, and almost nobody builds them.
Patients now expect a number
Direct-to-consumer aligner brands trained a generation to expect pricing and treatment length up front. A practice that publishes a starting figure and its financing terms loses fewer enquiries to the practice that does.
General dentists are competitors now
Clear aligners moved into general practice, so you are no longer competing only with other orthodontists. Specialist training has to be visible on the page rather than assumed by the reader.
The rules apply to the imagery
Orthodontics is regulated by the RCDSO, and before and after photography is the fastest route to a rejected ad or a complaint. Compliant formats exist and they are not the obvious ones.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from marketing a general dental practice?
A general practice markets a broad mix of routine and high-value work to the same local audience. An orthodontic practice runs two almost separate acquisition problems: adolescent cases that still come largely through referring dentists, and adult clear aligner patients who research privately for months and compare on price and convenience. They need different campaigns, different landing pages and different measurement.
Our referrals from general dentists have slowed. Can marketing help?
Partly, and it is worth being honest about which part. Marketing cannot repair a professional relationship. What it can do is make referring easier and keep you visible between referrals, with a clear referral path, something the front desk can hand a patient, and case updates that close the loop. At the same time it builds direct demand so the practice is not dependent on a channel it does not control.
Can we advertise a clear aligner brand by name?
Usually yes if you are a provider, but the brand owner sets terms on how its trademark and logos may be used, and those terms vary by provider agreement and tier. We check the current provider guidelines before building creative around a brand name rather than assuming, because the cost of getting it wrong falls on your practice.
Can we use before and after photos of our own cases?
With care. The platforms treat side by side comparisons as implying a result, and health-adjacent advertising rules in Ontario add their own limits on outcome claims and testimonials. Patient consent is a separate requirement again. We build creative that works within all three rather than discovering the limits through a rejection.
How long before a campaign produces case starts?
We do not quote a timeline. Enquiries move earlier than case starts because orthodontic treatment is a long, high-value decision and the consultation sits in the middle of it. The honest measure is booked consultations first and case starts after, and the audit tells you which part of your current funnel is actually losing people before you spend anything.
